POINTERS:

V.47 – What make and individual to rejoice in what they did no see

The trust and glad in the name of the Lord – Psalms 5:11 "11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

Faith – Hebrews 11:1 "1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

MY SPIRIT REJOICED IN GOD MY SAVIOUR

Trusting in Lord came when we received Jesus as our savior

Things not to trust to:

Psalms 118:8 "8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Psalms 146:3 "3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

Psalms 49:6-7 "6 They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:

Proverbs 3:5-6 "5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

MY SOUL DOTH MAGNIFY THE LORD

þ Deity of the Lord required worship

þ We must addressed God as the highest and called Him for we are bought with a price – I Corinthians 6:20 "20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

þ Calling God as our Lord but not follow God – Luke 6:46 "46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

þ Submit to God – James 4:7 "7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

þ Submitting to God is submitting to ministries authority

þ Set us the example – Hebrews 13:17 "17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Be teachable in everything. In I Peter 2:13-14 "13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
