HOW TO BE RICH IN GOD

Hebrew 10:19-25

Introduction:

þ Every person was given an ability to believe in God. Mostly , if you ask a person if He believes in God he will say Yes , Yet this is not the faith that saves. It is only a NATURAL FAITH.

þ SAVING FAITH— it comes from God—it saves from eternal damnation..

þ In James 2:19 people do believe in God that there is God ...also the Devil believes and tremble. So it doest mean if he has belief in God he will be saved by it.

 þ Romans 10:13-17 .— The teaching that should be heard for the faith to be saved . In Corinthians' 15: 1-4 "1Co 15:1 ¶ Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

þ Eph 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

POINTS :

1. OUR LIFE NOW IS A LIFE THAT IS BOLD TO HOLINESS ( v. 19 )

þ We are bold or courageous to live a life that is holy—learning to hate sin to turn away from it

2. A LIFE WITH A NEW LIVING WAY ( v. 20 )

þ Having a new living way is the evidence seen in our lives . Our testimonies which the people around us are looking into.

3. PASTOR AS THE PRIEST WHO LEADS THE FLOCKS ( V.21)

þ And having an high priest over the house of  God

4. WE SHOULD HAVE A TRUE HEART WITH FULL ASSURANCE OF FAITH WITHOUT WAVERING (V. 22)

þ Be true to other person and be true to God

5.  A LIFE HAVING A FAITH WITHOUT WAVERING   ( V. 23)

þ Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised.

6.   A LIFE FULL OF LOVE NOT FULL OF HATE AND FULL OF GOOD WORKS. ( V. 24)

þ Love of God  - have  the love of God in us. Loving the unlovable.

þ Doing the same like as God did when we are Children of Satan—children of this world, God still love us.

7. A LIFE THAT ALWAYS WANT TO WORSHIPPED AND BE WITH HIM IN THE MIDST OF THE CONGREGATION. ( V. 25 )

þ Eph 4:11– 15 "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

CONCLUSION :

" OUR LIVES SHOULD BE PATTERN ACCORDING TO THE EXAMPLE SET BY CHRIST. "

" Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. "
