How We Conduct Our self in this World

Theme : Let us Walk by the Same Rule and Let Us mind the Same Thing

Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

~Philippians 3:15-21

Intoduction:

1. Look not in this World

þ —If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.                -Romans 3:10-11

2. Things in this World is TEMPORAL

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

                                 - 2 Cor  4:18

Pointers:

I. We give importance to the gift than the giver.

"Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened." - Romans 1:21

þ We know the wisdom of this world is foolish to God.

 "This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish." - James 3:15

þ If the gift of God is good we need use for his Glory and next to us.

þ If give importance to gift not the giver.

"Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the   iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;" - Exodus 20:5

þ In this world we have a tribulation

 "And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;" - Romans 5:3

II. The Creator and the Creation.

þ Is not only idols but all things thus create of God if you worship this you don't give important to the Creator

"Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is   blessed for ever. Amen." - Romans 1:25

III. God's pleasure and mens pleasure.

"No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier." - II Timothy 2:4

þ We need a pleasure in life.

Conlusion:

þ We are the Christian so we need to walk and mind the think of God in our life in this world.

þ If we know obey the word of God in our life and then we walk this in this world.
